Born in Beirut, Samira lived most of her life in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Italy. She has traveled extensively and speaks a number of languages, including French, Italian, Arabic and Spanish. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia, Samira earned a master’s degree in conflict analysis and resolution from George Mason University.
